Obituary of Leonard C. DiNardo

Leonard C. DiNardo, affectionately known by friends as Lenny, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at his home in Livingston, NJ. He was 80.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Lenny had lived in Lambertville, NJ and Parsippany, NJ, before moving to Livingston, NJ.

Lenny served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War before his honorable discharge in 1965.

An artist and glass blower, Lenny loved to create glass masterpieces . He had worked as a glass blower at the Riker Hill Art Park in Livingston for 30 years. Previously, he had owned a private glass blowing studio in Lambertville, NJ.

Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Maria Rosalia (nee LaPenna) DiNardo; and two of his brothers, Anthony Dinardo and his wife, Jane; and John DiNardo. He is survived by his brother, Richard E. DiNardo of Parsippany, NJ; a sister-in-law, Barbara DiNardo of Montville, NJ; two nephews, Eric DiNardo of Towaco and Paul DiNardo of New York; and many dear friends, including George and Darcy Domareki.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Lenny's Life with Military Honors on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 2:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, Lake Hiawatha. He will be interred in the future with his family at the Restland Memorial Park. East Hanover, NJ.
