Obituary of Gertrude L. Fucci

Gertrude Linda Fucci (nee Nowak), lovingly known as Trudy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, November 13, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, surrounded by her beloved family. She was 79.

Born and raised in Montville Township, NJ, she had been a resident of the Parsippany-Troy Hills for 57 years.

She was a 1963 graduate of Boonton High School.

Mrs. Fucci had worked as a credit and collections specialist with the Novartis Corporation of East Hanover before her retirement 15 years ago.

Trudy was a longtime member of the Montville Reformed Church. A doting mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was an avid gardener and loved to cook. She often shared the creations from her kitchen with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Fucci; a daughter, Lynne Guiliana; and her parents, George and Gertrude L. (nee Sellitto) Nowak.

Survivors include her loving children, Joanne Del Rio and her husband, Glenn of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, Tracey Ysordia and her fiancee, Edward Stoll of Hampton, NJ, and Joseph M. Fucci and his wife, Donelle of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; a brother, George G. Nowak and his wife, Diane of Palm Bay, FL; a sister, Cathy Weaver of Montville, NJ; seven grandchildren, Victoria Davies and her husband, Benjamin, Ashley Barsh and her husband, Charles, Nicole Trabucco and her husband, Nicholas, Arthur James Ysordia, Josephina Marie Ysordia, Angelina Marie Fucci and Joseph Peter Fucci; and four great-grandchildren, Sophie Marie Davies, Vincent Michael Davies, Santino Anthony Trabucco and Angelo Michael Trabucco.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday, November 17, 2024, 2:00pm to 6:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, November 18, 2024, 11:00am at the Montville Reformed Church, Montville. Interment will follow in the Montville Cemetery.
