Salvatrice J. “Sally” Savage (nee Cardia) passed away Tuesday morning, November 19, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ following a brief illness. She was 89. 
 
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late Salvatore and Adeline (nee Barraco) Cardia, she had been a resident of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ for over 60 years. 
 
A mother and homemaker, Sally was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany and St. Peter's Golden Age Seniors. She was an avid Bingo player at the Parsippany Community Center.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jeremiah J. "Jerry" Savage; her daughter, Joanne Savastano; and her siblings, Frank Cardia, Vincent Cardia and Annette Napholz (nee Cardia).   
 
Survivors include her daughter, Patti Ann Van Dam of Florida; her sister, Jeanette Collet of Florida; her brother, Salvadore Cardia of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and a community of cherished friends. Sally will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her. 
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, November 22, 2024, 10:00am at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, Parsippany. Private cremation will follow. At Sally's request, there will be no public visitation.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the good work of Morristown Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1706, Morristown, NJ 07062.
