Obituary of Kirtidai Sharma

Kirtidai Sharma (nee Datadeen) passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, December 10, 2024 at her Wharton, NJ home. She was 62 years young.

Born in Leonora, Guyana, Mrs. Sharma immigrated to the United States in 1989, settling in Jersey City, NJ. She came to Wharton 26 years ago. 

She was a project manager with Iqvia, a clinical pharmaceutical sales firm based in Parsippany, NJ where she had worked for the last 17 years up until the day before her passing.

Kirtidai loved gardening. Her garden was a place of beauty and peace. 

Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ramdaye Datadeen; she is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Boadnarine Sharma; three cherished children, Amanda Sharma and her husband, Anish Bali of Wharton, NJ, Andria Sharma and her husband, Meet Patel of Wharton, NJ, and Aaron Sharma of Wharton; her adored father, Deo Datadeen of Jersey City, NJ; four dear siblings, Bissoondai "Pam" Yarama of Jersey City, Shivkumar Datadeen of Orlando, FL, Kampta Datadeen of Jersey City, NJ, and Ganesh Datadeen of Jersey City, NJ, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday, December 13, 2024, 5:00pm to 9:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha (Parsippany), NJ. A Puja Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday morning, December 14, 2024, 8:00am to 10:00am at the funeral home. Cremation will follow at Rosedale Crematory, Montclair, NJ.
