Obituary of Diane L. Mulroony

Diane Mulroony (nee Fallat) passed away Monday afternoon, December 16, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 84.

Born and raised in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ she lived most of her life there. She grew up on her parent's dairy farm, Clover Dairy Farm, and was in the first graduating class of Parsippany High School, She married her husband, Thomas on January 21, 1967 and they raised their three boys in her family's homestead in Parsippany. Following Tom's passing in 2021, Diane moved to Budd Lake, NJ, and subsequently Spring Hill Assisted Living in Morristown, NJ.

Mrs. Mulroony had worked as a teacher's aide at the Northvail School in Parsippany. She later worked as an assistant manager at Baldwin Oaks Senior Center in Parsippany for seventeen years before retiring in 1999.

She was a lifelong member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany.

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas V. Mulroony; and her parents, Richard and Helen (nee Stanchak) Fallat; she is survived by three sons, Thomas Mulroony and his wife, Lisa of Montague, NJ, Kevin Mulroony and his wife, Lori of Tewksbury, NJ, and Denis Mulroony and his wife, Theresa of Rockaway, NJ; six grandchildren Shannon, Madelyne, Keegan, Sydney, Emily, and Braeden; and her close friend, Michael Randazzo.

Diane loved animals, particularly cats, dogs and cows; enjoyed Christmas time; was a long-time Avon representative; and frequently opened her home to friends in need. She adored her husband Tom, and they cherished their time together, going to the Jersey Shore, hitting casinos, and spending time with friends at the American Legion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 19, 2024, 10:00am at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, Parsippany. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
