Obituary of Theresa J. Sutton

Theresa J. Sutton (nee Di Eduardo), 95, affectionately known as "Terry" passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 at Vista Harbor Assisted Living in Naples, FL.

Born and raised in Boonton, NJ, Terry was a longtime resident of Parsippany, NJ, before moving to Naples, FL.

Ms. Sutton was the owner and proprietor of the Match II Shop in Boonton for 35 years before retiring in 2004. 

She was a former member of the Boonton Chamber of Commerce, the 200 Club of Morris County, and the Knoll Golf Club.  

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Sutton; her son-in-law, Russell Bennett; her parents, Joseph and Carmina (nee Colavecchia) Di Eduardo; and her siblings, Nano Di Eduardo, Alfred Di Eduardo, Patrick Di Eduardo, Clarence Di Eduardo, Anita Venturini, and Carmen Barnish.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin Bennett; four grandchildren, Richard, Christopher, Jennifer, and Robert; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexis, Mason, and Gabriel; and three great-great-grandchildren, Carter, Lana, & Caden; as well as several nieces and nephews, including Patrick Di Eduardo, who was like a son to her, and her special nieces Louisa Di Eduardo and Lori Grecco.

As per Terry's explicit request, funeral arrangements will be private. Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.
