I attended a summer seminar in Boston with Beatus in the 1990s. He was such a lovely gentleman. We would have great discussions in class, at dinners, and while on the train, as I helped carry his art supplies over to Harvard yard so he could paint.
I thought of him the other day, when I saw a lovely watercolor painting,and came across this lovely tribute.
