Rose Palmiotto (nee Pignatano passed away Friday morning, February 24, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. She was 90.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn before coming to Montville Township, NJ in 2021.

Mrs. Palmiotto had been a cook at St. Anselm's R.C. Church in Brooklyn, NY, before retiring 18 years ago. Previously, she was a hostess and cook at Short Ribs Restaurant in Bay Ridge, NY.

Preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Palmiotto in 1980; she is survived by her three sons, Guy Palmiotto and his wife, Carmela of Rockaway Township, NJ, Michael Palmiotto and his wife, Lynn of Hawley, PA., and Neil Palmiotto and his wife, Donna of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ; Four grandsons, Nicholas, Daniel, Neil, and Matthew Palmiotto. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Anthony Pignatano, Joseph Pignatano and Annabelle Sutera.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, February 27, 8:30am to 10:00am at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Funeral services will be celebrated at 10:00am in the Funeral Home and interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
